Flying over the Tamar river in Tasmania northern city, Launceston http://www.pleasetakemeto.com/australia/launceston/photos/launceston_f2f59-494 (population around 100,000). The helicopter is a Hirobo Shuttle Plus II with a .32 OS engine running on Cool Power fuel 20% LS (low smoke) and an OS #7 glow plug. The floats came from Century floats (the same as Helimax floats) and the carbon blades are made by Rotortech (the original wooden blades have become a little bit warped).
It is nicer and more fun flying over the water and it is probably a lot safer as well because there are no people walking around the flying area. Anyone can watch safely from the shore line if they are interested and there are no safety related hazards or distractions in front except for some unauthorized low flying Pelicans :)

Thats a beautiful site to fly from.
Got to love float flying, ever since I tried it I'm hooked to heli float flying.

Our floats came from Radiocontrol-sports (RCS) in Singapore and we also have a spare pair of floats from Tower Hobbies in the USA ......
Heli-Max floats or Century floats seem to be exactly the same.
