Pepsi inflatable baseball bust

I didn't like this inflatable that I got on E-bay, so I heat stretched it & tried to sit pop it. When that didn't work I stomped it. As I was only wearing slippers, I didn't think it would bust, but it did :-)
Wasn't loud, but it was well popped and I finished the job by tearing it to bits.

I'm not American & I hate sport, so I'm pretty clueless what it is. Looks like a Rugby ball to me. (A dull & pointless sport we have in the UK!)
