EKEN M003s Via 8650 With Roger Calver's Singularity Rom Review

Hi all! This is my next review in my continuing series of custom rom reviews for my Via 8650 based EKEN M003s. Roger Calver has done a great job of putting together a smooth, polished, and glitch free rom for our sacred tablets. I have tried everything from Comic/ebook/pdf/Manga viewing, to video/music playback and all have worked fine, with no lag and no problems encountered by me during my testing. Comic and Manga reading especially shine here, with smooth playback on my 8" 4:3 form factor M003s...simply the best I've seen on any tablet I own, and would have you consider this combo if this is what your buying a tablet for. Movies are nice as well, as long as you keep it to no more than 640x480, the Via chipset can't handle 720p, period. Flash 10.1 playback was also excellent, with embedded as well as Flash based games working just fine. Everything you would want a tablet to do, this rom allows it to do, and do it with no drawbacks that I could find...highly recommended if you like a rom that just works "out of the box". My congrats to Roger Calver for an excellent effort :-)

For those who are wondering why I didn't go online with it, it's because I feel that I have already done that to death on all of my videos to date...its almost a forgone conclusion that its going to work on all of the modern tablets coming out of China these days. The performance is fast, as noted above Flash 10.1 works fine...not much more to say on this. If you need to see it, see my video with HcH's rom on it, I got the exact same experience on this one as that one ;-)

Yes, this is different from the one I uploaded first, lol. I hated the vocals in that one, so I redid it ;-)

&Why are you using a stylus lol is the screen terribly non-touch resistant?

@bjknngbhh Believe it or not,I hate fingerprints,lol. Depending on which version of 8650 tab you get(there are over 80,no lie!!) the screen is quite responsive. I use Eken's exclusively, they have never let me down ;-)

HTC Desire is better....if your looking for a phone that is.This is a cheap tablet that works well on its own,but has no hardware acceleration to play games with,but basic things like web surfing and ebook reading will work great.
