Superb track from Perfect Strangers and a great live version. They played it at Knebworth that year but it had to be dropped from the broadcast due to technical reasons or something!?
Cheers for posting.

Ian Gillan was a member of Deep Purple from 1969-1973, then from 1984-1989, and again from 1992-present.
The whole band were composers, but the riffs mainly came from Ritchie Blackmore and the lyrics from Ian Gillan and Roger Glover. Jon Lord and Ian Paice filled in bits and pieces, and helped shape the songs.
The songs wouldn't be the same with just one composer, even if some people claim that Blackmore wrote everything. He may have been the most important member, but without the others..

Did Gillian return to the band when He left DP?
Who were the composers of the band? by song if posssible?
