Kirtan is fully participatory, call-and-response devotional chant. A live kirtan is at once ecstatic, contemplative and — most of all — playfully improvised. Enjoy singing along
with this music!
Kirtan Rabbi: Live! was recorded after sundown on June 14, 2008 at Congregation Bnai Jeshurun in New York City. Unless otherwise noted, all melodies are by Rabbi Andrew Hahn. The words are drawn from the Hebrew Bible and the siddur (the traditional Jewish prayerbook), as well as from the language of kabbalah (Jewish mysticism).

@DenizCaroll Who are you to tell another Jew what is Jewish and what not?

@YemeniteChanter And you're probably a Taleban.

This is Pagan, not Jewish. They already said they abonded their religion and found their "jewishness" ... in this Pagan like rituals. What they do is, they imitate Pagan rituals and add some "hebrew words" in it. So this is abviously not an Authentic Pagan either:).... "Mystical Chant"??? There's no mystery in this. They get the same "healing" as the others do at the dance clubs. You will get the same when you do excercice. Nothing godly nor mystical here....
