I visted church a couple of times and listend to the odd speechs of the preachers and read what they to told me to, i sang those songs about christ and heaven, i was baptised as a child and I've got christian people around me, but I never felt that there is a god, i never felt like that some one is answering the prayers, i never saw any sign of a beeing as descriped in the bible. I'am a bit jelous of people having so much imagination that they think they are "saved" or that there is a heaven.

Believing in Jesus is anything but imagination, as it is the Truth. I

imagine you cannot believe as you are not reading the Bible. Romans

10 tells us that faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of God.

It says that faith is the evidence of things not seen, the assurance

of things hoped for.

and that without faith, you cannot please God.

He that comes to God must believe that He is and He is a rewarder of

those who diligently seek Him. It says that Jesus was full of grace

and truth, and it is by grace you are saved through faith.

So please start reading, and then you'll start hearing, and then

believing. I was the same way [which is why I am writing], I wanted

to believe but didn't, rather couldn't.

A real brief testimony: I was

in college and prayed one night after a party. I prayed, "God, do you

exist?"  A few months later was hit by a drunk driver and had a coma

for 10 weeks. I couldn't walk, talk, or think when I woke up. As I

began to seek God, He led me and healed me. Though it wasn't in a

day, He has now healed me forever. Forgiven my sin and given me faith

to believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord.

So just another believers story to testify of God's reality and the

short time you and I have to get to know Him, while we're here on

Earth.

@goobies4jc so...instead of just believing that the medical team and everyone who worked hard to revive you. instead of believing that they saved you, you give thanks to an imaginary man who had nothing to do with your recovery. not only is that ignorant, but ungrateful to those that actually saved your life. not to mention if god actually gave a shit about you he wouldnt have let you get hit in the first place. what kind of person severely hurts someone just to later prove hes real.

Religion is the commercialization of emotions and superstition wich has lead people to be delusional and form mental illness in many cases. I left Religion in my early twenties and have never felt more free from the burden of Superstition. It is a means to trap and enslave to weaker human mind for monetary gain. After knowing the truth as I do, to return would be the same as a dog returning to its vomit. When you want to know the reason for a crime, you need to follow the money. Tithes @ 10%

It's 2011. It's time to let go of these past myths and instead of believing in supernatural deities that do NOT exist... start believing in ourselves and this lonely piece of rock we inhabit TOGETHER called the Earth.

god is so just and righteous. remember that time he killed ezekiels wife and told him not to mourn her? or that time he killed all the first born in egypt? or that other time he killed every person in the world except noah and his family? what a loving righteous god. or that time, when he sent himself to earth and before he was sacrificed to himself, he told those guys to steal a horse? stealing is awesome if its for jesus. so is murder if its by god or for god :)
