@theblitz1. You're missing the point man, in real world the a-10 doesn't go in until major aerial threats are gone, that's what you'd send the 5th gens in first 4. The A-10's primary role is close ground support.

in a sovereign belligerence the a-10 and anything under a F-22 would be the equivalent of a flying donkey turd
youd have mig-35, J-20's and PAKFA's throwing R-73/77's all over the place
it would probably only take a few days to burn through everyones 3rd and 4th gen
most people don't realize how quick shit can go down once its dedicated

I love the airforce and I miss being in it!

when did the A-10C come out? i never heard anything on this one

@AviationFavorites Agreed, I think after how Iraq and Afghanistan desperately needed the A-10 they now they realize that future conflicts will require even more A-10s.
-
@haloghost1 LOL like you could tell the difference from the outside. The obvious parts of the PEM upgrades are visible only in the cockpit.
-
Everytime they talk about grounding this war bird it proves its self time and time again..
-
lol I like how the A-10 in the background is an A-10A Model...
-
Oh it's heading to Afghanistan and Iraq. And if had a chance to plow the fields near the "Dear Leader's" Palace in North Korea...it would scare the shit out of him.

c-mon who could compete with a gatling gun with wings & tank buster rockets.
The A10 shall live for many years to come

Every couple of years the Air force has some silly plan to decommission the A-10. I hope this is a sign that they now see that worth of a dedicated ground attack platform. Thank you for posting.
