  • my aunt is about to have the whipple procedrue this tuesday how long did it take for him to recover

  • It took about 2 months for him to feel better and get his energy back.

  • NIce video, glad your Dad came home. How is he now? My mother in law was just diagnosed and isn't sure she wants the surgery.

  • voicmjoes, thanks for asking......My dad is doing great! he had tests and everything is going fine! If your mother-in-law is able to have the Whipple, my dad would recommend it!

We will keep her in our prayers!

  • I had a Whipple surgery 11 yrs. ago and had fantastic physician/surgeon. The surgery and recovery was pure hell. I lost about 50 lbs. within 3 months after the surgery, but all is well and digestive enzymes are a daily med I must take, but other than that, everything is great. Wish your father the best and that he continues to get stronger every day.

  • I am 47 years old. I had the whipple surgery 3 weeks ago. The surgery was hell BUT my nurses were amazing. With their constant watch and the love of my family and the good Lord above I'm doing fantastic. No more pain. I still take enzimes but no other meds. How wonderful to have my life back.

  • WOW always have hope be prepared for anything good or bad my father had a whipple procedure done and unfortunatley he passed away..but have hope and fight i know you'll get through it and only the lord gives us things for the better and for 1 reason we might not know of..
