@broadwayloverny10 Also, I hate it when Tick Tock gets left out. It seems like that trend started around when the 'updated' script emerged. I REALLY dislike that, and am very glad the Neil Patrick Harris, NY Philharmonic version had the show set in its original period. Some folks don't like Tick Tock, but I find it so important in the show.

@broadwayloverny10 I disagree. There are many talented, special Broadway dancing ladies. Granted, Donna had something extremely special and all her own, but others bring what they have, and some are wonderful. I loved Chryssie Whitehead in the recent concert (that was practically fully staged, and beautifully--I saw it only in cinema, twice), along with the other dancers. I saw one production where the dance was a pas de deux, which was very effective.

Its a shame that this had to be cut, but it is all because Nobody could od it like Donna Mckechnie. They couldn't find a musical actress that could dance like this and still fit the part. That just shows how much Donna Owns.

@EricMontreal22 Thiis number was eliminated years before...it officially does not appear in the score or script since the early 90s.

"Stop Popping the head"

It was Shire--but him and Steve are huge friends.

I think it's huge mistake also...but wasn't it something to do that Sondheim didn't actually have a hand in the arrangement? Wasn't it David Shire that put this number together based on "Someone is Waiting"..? Not sure.

Jus tgoes to show that the recent elimnation of this number from the revised Company is a huge mistake
This woman is the embodiment, the personification, the soul of dance. She makes me believe there is something to life beyond our existence on this planet.

You can see where some of this was recreated for her "Music and the MIrror" dance in ACL.
