Driving with the Scania 144L 460 6x2 flatbed, with straw bales, too the power plant where we are being unloaded by a big overhead crane.
The straw is being burned along side coal as an experiment.
The excavator we see on our way out, is an Cat 330D Long Reach

  • @V8SCANIAVOLVOV8 Takker :)

    Hehe jaa lyder godt :)

  • he can drive ;D

  • @fp08frwi Hehe

  • another excellent video on that operation

The one thing that I didn't like was the gantry crane lifting up to the roof over the trailer.

I see the set up and he can't do anything but that. the crane should be able to lift just off the trailer and then to the side and then lift it up high. Its a machine and things do break. If say a hose blew on the clamper those bails could come down and it they did it could smash your trailer in two. I have seen it done with overseas containers.

  • @togreektown Thanks

Yeah but they doo that because they, are being weighed and messured for moisture when they are hanging there. If they are too wet then they are loaded back on the trailer and the driver can take them back home. All of them
