ideally you should build the self feeding fire up with a small void in the middle in all layers except the second top layer and bottom layer, this allows coals to fall into this crevice, starting the rest on fire. Other then that bravo mate and good vid.

Ideally, you wouldn't use the tampon before lighting it on fire.

@IR0NM1K3 Exactly!. Altho if you did, I'd let it dry out a little before hitting it with a fero rod. And, rubber gloves might be an order.
