Music Trio from Jerusalem, a group of talented musicians whose specialty is contemporary klezmer folk music playing traditional and original compositions absorbed from Russian, Ukrainian and Jewish melodies and chants while simultaneously weaving them with music from classical jazz and Middle Eastern ethnic tunes all blended together to form a unique sound.
The ensemble was awarded the prestigious UNESCO Prize "For Interactive Dialog Between Different Cultures Through Music."
Music Trio from Jerusalem klezmer repertoire mostly comprises traditional pieces dedicated to the fervent Jewish prayers for peace. The audience apprehend them as heralds of peace of all the world. The trio makes the Jewish music art understandable and enjoyable by any audience regardless its national origin and cultural values. Their primary intent to bridge the gap between the different cultures and denominations by music way.
The ensemble has a good experience of the participation in various concerts, international festivals and events.
