Why are they fighting?

I don't know much german but I think it is because of what the voiceover in this documentary says in german:

Marmot. After 8 months it's finally in the light.

It goes for a walk.

It's not enough (something), safe..

8 months in darkness without movement.

(and then goes that shot with marmot playing/fighting)

then he said to safety he check the cave again

and he said that they play ... dont fight (;
