@Yamanoneko - i was in drama /show choir/spoken word club. it seems like ur scolding a fan for not taking personal responsibility to seek out and appreciate a culture, when im actually just as apart of it. but you didn't ask, u just assumed i was "part of the problem." don't become bitter or judgmental, or lose the spirit of inclusiveness b/c u feel under appreciated. u won't know the next time you scold an "ally." please handle causes with care and don't alienate patrons who are as in it as u.

If you grew up in the USA, you probably did. It probably did not help that local opinion labeled them uncool or worse. Ask them and they'll probably tell you about the poor prospects, intolerant neighbors or enforced mediocrity that drove them into Chicago. (To be fair, your hometown probably has more than a few people driven thither by one or another of Hizzoner's policies...)
