it says in the bible that gay acts are sinful so i don't see how you can argue that god doesn't hate you for it yet he doesn't want you to do it?

I personally am an athiest so i think there is nothing wrong with being gay, but if your gay and religious that to me is strange, you can't have it both ways, the churches position on being gay is very clear, i hate when people twist religion to take the stuff out so it fits there lifestyle.

@KyokushinTruth I'm not saying that it has to be different because I believe everybody has their own interpretation of their religion. And I'm really not all that religious, anyway. I just believe what I believe. To me, I can't help but think that if people can change their opinions over time through different experiences, why can't God?

@SamIAm92 well because hes supposed to be all knowing and all powerful. If hes all knowing then he knows everything there is to the world and would never need to change his opinion.

Honestly tho i am a follower of bushido and don't believe in religion anyway, i think its horrible that people don't respect gay people, its such a petty thing, sexual preference. I 100 percent believe in gay rights, but religion has made there position on it very clear, which is y i chose atheism

@KyokushinTruth Yeah, like I said, everybody has their own interpretation of God. I just believe that he's not this tyrant who is saying, "What I say goes!" and rules with an iron fist. I might get some bad feedback if people see this comment, but why is God so prone to making mistakes? Who says he's not just a normal person who can make mistakes every now and again? I don't know; it's just how I feel.

I think I speak for a lot of the gay community when I say that I appreciate your support! :D

@SamIAm92if you follow the old testaments or the bible then hes not prone to mistakes because hes all knowing. But if you just believe in a higher being and don't say its a specific religion then ya u can pretty much thing what u want of him. No problem. Just because your sexuality is different from mine doesn't mean i am any better then you. Its a stupid concept really. Hopefully one day being gay won't even have a taboo about it. It shouldn't have one there is nothing wrong with being yourself

@KyokushinTruth Well, I suppose that's what I am; a believer in some sort of higher being. And that's what I'm hoping, also. I don't understand why it has to be this giant ordeal; why can't we all just leave peacefully among each other? Life would be much more simpler that way lol

@SamIAm92 I believe bill maher said it best, because before we learned how to be peaceful and rational we learned how to make weapons and kill each other. Sad, simple truth of human existence. Total tolerance of each other will never happen
