  • my waterjet would hang up on such a code, incredible drawing, number of code lines must be insane.

    my sincerest respect to the author of the drawing, i am stunned!!!

  • @viestartss thanks, it was tough indeed, once I completed the drawing, it took me almost a year to have it ready to cut; As far as I know there's no machine capable of handling a program this complicated, you have to work without exceeding the limitations of your equipment.

    La belleza de esta pieza cautiva enormemente. Al igual que tu, corte esta pieza en bajo relieve en diferentes tamanos. Mi primer proyecto lo hice de 48"x48", el segundo de 98"x96" y termine cortandolo en laser mas pequeno.

    Aunque todo mundo se sorprende, es una pieza que nadie compra, todavia tengo varios de estos colgados en mis paredes.

  • Very Impressive. Did you use AutoCAD, Solidworks, or the Omax software to draw it? What was the time on the total cut? How thick was the steel? It looks like 11 Gauge (1/8") Have you ever etched metal before on your waterjet.
