Parents if you always want to see a sweet sweet smile everyday in the faces of your children, don't for the love of God allow them to diet without a doctor supervising their diet.
This in no way means to put blame on Karen Carpenter's parents or family, but let's all learn from this sad tragedy.
We lost one of the very best voices in the music industry and all for the DAMN ANOREXIA NERVOSA.

Sometimes is heartening to see the high divorce rate in the western world.
Karen died from not only anorexia but also from a failed marriage as far as I can see. According to chinese horoscope, she was born in the year of the tiger and her husband in the year of the snake. This has brought a clash in her relationship with her husband. On the other hand, her brother Richard was born in the year of the dog, therefore, her relationship with him was a perfect match in terms of collaboration.
