@datascatter no fancy registers, as far as i know. but i broke the software in some malfunctionary way maybe there are some super-registers being poked. but indeed, it's accessing the SID-chip 8 times faster than normally (which is a feature of the software).

no, the show how much processor time is wasted. at most, the SID-chip is accessed 8 times more often than usual, thus 8 little line-men dancing on the border floor.
