@talladegajunkie1439 No they played Squeeze play in 1983
-
And they play Squeeze PLay for a car on the daytime show from time to time, just that they have an extra digit on the board, of course. They started doing it in 2003, and played Squeeze for a car on the 4/1/2011 show.

There are people who went to the TPIR Live stage show prior to Bob's retirement who actually thought Bob was going to be hosting.
-
Maybe the other games took longer to play and they needed a quick car game. They'd do that with Double Prices, Safe Crackers, or, in this case, Squeeze Okay.

Squeeze Play for a car... in '86. Was this the first time???

oh if Tom K. wasn't so old I really would have loved to see him as new host. Marc Summers would also be a good pick.

tom kennedy sounds a hell of alot like bob barker

Yes, they offered a car recently this week, I'm pretty sure. It's a little tougher now for a car, because you have six digits, and you have four options to choose which number to pull out.

Great video! Thank you! Love Tom Kennedy...Hell of an MC
Maybe it's me, but did the audience seem just a little bit let down when Tom was announced? Seemed like they may have been expecting Bob to walk out the doors.

I doubt they were expecting Bob. Tom's name was printed on the tickets.
