There was a french restaurant that recently opened up in my town and when I visited I noticed not a single waiter pronounced any of the dishes correctly. Being the lovely person I am I proceeded to order entirely in french, even going so far as to try and strike up a conversation. The poor guy was so confused but ended up being a good sport and made an effort to repeat my order back to me with the same pronunciations. I think it's always nice when people try, even if they don't do it perfectly.

I once bought some scissors, but I needed to use scissors to open the package thingy. :/

a couple of years ago on Christmas Day, i got a present and it was in that horrible packaging thing, and we didnt have any scissors in the house, so i got a knife and tried to stab it open, and i ended up stabbing my hand.
Moral of the story, ALWAYS BE CAREFUL WHEN OPENING SHITTY PACKAGES!

actually frAHnce isn't the correct way to say it either.
A french guy called and I answered in German and he started speaking english in a french accent so I did too. I didn't want to seem like a prick and start speaking french...
same with "croissant" and "deja vu" I always feel like such a prick
What's worse is when I struggle to open something, finally manage to messily tear it open and then realise it had an easy open tear strip that I didn't spot.
