Testimony - Palestinians humiliated in raid in Jericho

During a raid on a prison in Jericho, IDF soldiers forced the detainees to undress and led them in their underwear through the prison grounds. They then made the detainees sit naked and blindfolded on damp mattresses and exposed to the sun. Whoever moved was beaten. B'Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights - Israel demanded an investigation into the matter.

The war between Israel and Palestine is not pretty. The land involved is a small area and the two combatants are mortal enemies. Civilians are killed on both sides. The difference--Israel is a modern, fairly Western country while the Palestinians are mostly third world. The Israelis should win. After the total victory of Israel, Palestinians will eventually benefit from the technological innovation and vibrant economy of Israel. It's not fair but that is how the world has always worked.
