I personally think that there must have always been in existence some form of consciousness or life force that permeates the universe. It has always existed as a deep part of the structure of the universe, and it subdivides into all the life there is. All life, past and present, is connected and always will be.

I would believe the testimony of the soldier, over that of the record, because battlefield regimental hierarchy is subject to modification that doesn't always get back to the records. He was there. His details, I'm inclined to believe, would be more accurate. I don't believe in crypt-amnesia. I think the patients aren't cognizant of what they know under hypnosis.

Just because hypnosis isn't full-proof doesn't mean that reincarnation is unreal. It only means that hypnosis is not the way to prove it.
