i know how it feels i hyperextended my knee 2 weeks ago at OBC Championship for long jump. My season is over do to it ;'( my coach said if it wasint for the sand my knee would be in the back of my leg pretty much broken ;'( i was supost to be going to regionals next week but i rearly could jump the week after wich was 2 days ago
i hyperextended my knee playing basketball last spring... Takes a very long time to heal.. Im still not 100%. its been 95-98% for what seems months. That last 2% is the real bitch.
@XTacoBellyX its usually the muscles and ligaments bending to far or known as hyper-extension or moving it the opposite way. due to stress from a joint it usually just collapse or turns the wrong direction. it usually happens in the knee area from falls or jumping off of things and leaning slightly forward while you leg is stiff.

i tried to kick a ball and a guy put his arm out to charge down the kick
and he got me and pushed my knee back :'(
