hey yogi, what do you think of your epi valve? thought bought picking one up, this or the blackheart? and i live in an apartment too, college...is it too loud to break into overdrive for apartment levels? aka pissing off people?

YesIts loud as hell, got complaints all the time when I cranked this sucker. I recently traded it and my old Peavey Classic VTX in for a Peavey Classic 50, so I don't have it anymore. The problem I had with it was that I bought it to have something portable to take around to Jams/friends house, but it still made have to carry effects because of the lack of reverb etc. It just wasn't versatile enough for me
Recently I picked up a Vibro Champ XD, and I like it a lot more

Lovely playing again. I really like that strat, I remember playing it when I got my MIA deluxe. If I had a bit more cash, probably would have splashed for it. Possibly.. lol

I've played a couple of deluxe's pretty nice guitars. The JM though is definitely worth the extra cash IMO. Its one of the sweetest playing axe's I have ever played
