This fine jazz performance by Joni James is accompanied by the Paul Smith Quintet. "My Favorite Things written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II for the 1959 musical, The Sound of Musics, was featured on the MGM LP, Joni James Sings My Favorite Things, released in 1963. In 2003 the album was released on CD by Collectors' Choice, a subsidiary of Emi-Capitol, combined with the album, Joni James Sings the Gershwins.
Go South Chicago, only a girl from the old Slag Valley steel mills area can sing like that and still find time to look naturally beautiful without all the downtown expensive clothes and makeup. Brava molta bella mia ragazza. Peppy, Uptown Chicago
