this shit is horrible
-
hey, is it still alive???? how big is it???
-
@sk8t3b0ard3r111 Centipedes are definitlely more deadly
-
Millipedes dont have venom, Sk8b0ard, so the centipedes bite is more dangerous.
-
Dunno anything about millipedes, sorry... but a centipede bite isn't a walk in the park... It hurts, and it hurts bad.
-
I'm kind of afraid of Scolopendras (one almost bit [stung? O_o] me when I was younger, not my fault either...guess it was just scared or something >_>)...Anyways, now that I've actually seen this vid, I know they're not that bad...He actually is kind of cute (still won't let him crawl on me though ^_^;).

hey there nightout cool pet, can u please tell me if they are quite docile? i mean i hear they are vicious but can constant handling tame them? are they poisonous man? are there specific types of centipedes that are docile and are recommended to become pets? thanks man pleas leave me a message

That really differs, but usually they're very agressive. Mine on the other hand, is quite a sissy... for some reason. You'll never be able to tame them - never - so get that thought out of your head ;) they'll be easier to handle over time, but never what we'd call "tame". They bite if they want to, and yes they're poisonous. And it hurts like hell when bitten, trust me. But they're easy to take care off and doesn't crave that much free time. But remember, it stays under ground most of the time.

Can you give me some tips ? I'd like to have one but I'm not sure how to feed him (I hate cockroach but i can catch some flies and lezards, are they enough ?). Anyway yours is nice.

When it's small, things like mealworms, flies and other small insects are more than enough... it eats about two mealworms once a week... when it get's bigger you'll need things like mice etc. But it'll take a few years.

Wow.. How big is he?

He's still young, so I'd say about 6-7cm... I've actually witnessed him being afraid of the larger mealworms, which is quite funny when you think about it. Some predator indeed. :P
