The Apotheosis of a Gunship

A short filmed-and-made-in-one-night compilation video I put together of me flying/gunning solo (using both seats simultaneously) in the Battlefield 2142 gunship. Mainly made for my osis buddies. It's not just a solo TV missile video because that's gotten old to me, so I tried to mix it up a bit with some other less spectacular shots that went more with the music.

Nothing too spectacular, just thought I'd share especially since I don't play 2142 anymore. And no.. no macros used.

Ur pretty good w/ that Gunship. How do you turn it so sharp w/o it flippin and nosing into the ground?

You just need to spend time flying and get used to controlling the gunship.

Changing your sensitivity might help. I used 7.5.

why dont you play bf 2142 anymore?? :(:( its a good game, just lay of for a while and come back. hey but tf2 is a great game too, but its more arcade like.

The flying was average but the quick tvs were amazing gj :) you good against ground vehicles but i dont think you stand a chance in the sky :) overall good vid :)

but still, i have 1 question, about homing missle, it seems to be smooth flying with you, well, when i play it gets kinda laggy, even when i am on ping 30, any idea how to fix that?

That makes sense as to the craft but the pilot seems to have a perfect pressure suit, as he's going hundreds of miles an hour in a circle.

The gunship isn't a jet fighter, its more like a helicopter with rotating jets in place of a rotor, so if you think about it, as long as they are manipulated in the right position, the body of the gunship could be angled down and still pull out of the dive you saw.

It is a little disorienting though, and something not everyone will be able to do successfully their first try.

I can guarantee solo flying is possible. I fly with joystick/mouse combo and I can do that.
