Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Tobias Ralph, Markus Reuter and Julie Slick playing King Crimson's "B'Bom" and the beginning of "Thrak" during the "2 of a Perfect Trio" tour.

THIS IS A ROUGH CUT of the footage from Montreal's show that could be released in the near future; please comment below to show your interest in such a thing!

The show featured StickMen for the first set, Adrian Belew Power Trio for the second and the third was dubbed "an extended crim-centric encore", including this rendition of "B'boom", from King Crimson's 1995 album THRAK.

  • You MUST make this footage available. This was one of the most incredible nights of my life, and I was so excited that there were people filming. Now I finally found this. I would bend over backward to purchase footage of this concert.

  • @maddpiklz48 Hey! Thanks! And do you care about the fact that it's a bit rough around the edges (i.e. the sound is a direct feed from the board, the whole place shaked like crazy because of the bass and i shows in the footage, etc..) ??

I'm curious to hear your opinion on this; it's a bit of a market study... :)

    Thanks everyone!

  • Thrak is missing something. I think it's the drummer and guitarist playing in an odd time signature that gives it the energy that makes me want to get up and start smashing things

  • @timi0000 So are you saying you miss the little something that makes you want to smash things or the thing that is missing makes you want to smash things? Just to make sure I understand correctly! :)

  • Please release the entire show. Saw 3 shows in California and it was an amazing experience. Yours is the best video/sound of any of the Youtube videos from this once in a lifetime tour. Please release!!!

  • @RickPlaysStick AND all the other good souls who took the time to write:

There's nothing certain and all the details are to be sorted out, but the interest is there, so we'll try to make it happen! Stay tuned and THANKS!

  • The live shows were great! We caught them in NYC and shared a table with California Guitar Trio's Hideyo Moriya. The footage and sound are very good. I will buy the two copies of the DVD when it is released. Thank you!!

  • Tony Levin is a GOD!

  • The second drummer doesn't get it. It's not about super fills and brububrbrubruburbrubruu.

    Where's the Bruford lesson?

  • @wwwjscotecom

Crimson nerds will take whatever you got. They have some pretty low-quality live releases that they themselves endorse, and this blows some of them out of the water. We're not a picky bunch.

  • Thrak... its been years since that things been done, that one needs the whole double trio

  • @wwwjscotecom Definitely gotta release it, man! As RickPlaysStick says, we NEED a memento of that tour! Please keep us updated!
