    -You could pass all the laws to prohibit criminals to buy guns and they will still buy it. It's self evident that CRIMINALS don't care about the law. You could put the law in place and they still won't follow it hence the reason they are criminal.

    -Background checks are necessary and law abiding citizens follow the law.

    I'm saying there should be laws prohibiting gun ownership to criminals, which there are, but I don't think it should be harder for a law abiding citizen to own a gun which is..
