I think it's milk with some sort of liquor in it. In England, it was known as a Milk Stout.

It's called "It Would Still Be Worth It" by Connie Francis. She was the first successful female vocalist of the 1950's Rock 'N Roll.

It was on the CBC in the 1990's but it was on late night at around 11:00 PM. It was only shown "once" but alot of people watched it, and it got a TV Award for Best Documentary.
This doc is completely awesome! Even greater is the fact that it dives into Canadian history - it's otherworldly to see Granville St in Vancouver in the 50s. Why isn't CBC broadcasting this?!
I *thought* Laura looked familiar as Stephanie Morgenstern when I first saw her... I finally looked her up and sure enough it's her! I was actually interested in viewing this when I found she's in such a production.
Thank you so much for uploading this!

UR more than welcome - quite a walk down memory lane . I am born & raised in Vancouver so I loved the old clips . I have never seen it in the tv guide & I feel it is too good to be sitting in archives somewhere with no one watching ... so that's why I put it up . It is a piece of history . Thanx for your comment !
