CROMER SURF FUNDRAISER FOR ASIA
Cold seas failed to slow hot Brazilian Luciano Huergo from winning the Surfers Earthquake Appeal East Coast contest in East Anglia.
Huergo carved his way to victory in solid 3-5 feet waves at Cromer, in Norfolk.
Runner-up Andy Williams, from Cambridge, did enough to edge Devon's Fred Richards into third place.
Shooting the pier helped Danny Cotgrove secure top spot in the longboard final from East Runton's Chris Key, and David Morris.
The body-board division was won by Joel, with Gavin Mitchel and Perran Crosley finishing in second and third.
The competition attracted over 100 competitors and raised more than £1,000 for the Asian Tsunami appeal.

@zbra02 to be honest, no, you might get the really odd swell but it will most probaly be onshore winds and just be a big shitty brown mess, east coast surfers together :P

@gonefishing888 same man, well im from essex, go down cornwall 4 months of the year and surf almost every day, my sister is going uni in norfolk though so me n my dad are gona check some of the waves in the winter swells :)

yeah i go to mundesley, next to the big nuclular powerplant thing, it looks loke a giant golf ball) you can drive down the front of the cliff to a carpark and walk a few feet to the beach, its good because if you go to cromer you end up having to walk miles before you get to the beach, lol.

got back from croyde was great but i live on the east coast and want to know whether u can surf here in cromer or anywhere on the east coastline in summer?
