  • This is a rough guide that i would take with a pinch of salt.

  • Check out our website for a more in depth guide, there is a link in the description.

  • I've just checked again. The Crocodile is level with the placket IF you're wearing the two bottoned polo. But on the 3button shirt, then the Crocodile sits level with the lowest of the 3 buttons slighlty above the placket.

  • We based this video on the two button classic polo which is why we mentioned that the Croc is level with the placket. As you say, it may be different on the three buttoned 'sport' polos.

  • WTF, I bought one from the official Lacoste website, and it had two tags. Not all of them have one tag.

  • As it says in the video, authentic polos bought in the USA will have both tags.

  • Lacoste items are designed in France but the manufactures can be in numerous countries. Some of the items are made in Peru and others in China. If the concern is about the authenticity of the merchandise, you may check the tag on the item. Authentic Lacoste items have a tag reading Devanlay on them. Devanlay is the parent company of Lacoste. The items made in Peru or even china should all have these tags just like the video says..

  • lol just buy from the retail store, 90% are fake on the internet.

  • It is on the same place, 3 cm long, but we doubt that is ordginal. Here's a picture and tell me it that original, if not i will contacting hel for consumers.I bought at the official store in the center - i. imgur . com / yyZ6U. jpg

  • Help me. Year before i got one lacoste polo t-shirt from good friend of mine. And that polo is 100 % orginal.

I compared with what it says on the net how to recognize original - 3 centimeters Crocodile, mother of pearl buttons (2), DEVENLAY, size number (not, S, M). I recently bought another one. I paid 60 pounds.(they have action, normal price is 69 pound) There are mother of pearl (2), has DEVENLAY, but the crocodile is not the same. It is on the same place, 3 cm long. Next post continued

  • @ABUELOS I see you're from the US, you clearly didn't read the video did you? "shirts purchased from the United States will have this label"

  • I've bought an original lacoste shirt and it has two neck labels. I guess the lacoste store online and retail store are selling fakes.... c'mon!!

  • and yeah, I've also seen some with "Designed in France, Made in China" neck labels.. at an official Lacoste retail store.. so yeah, it doesn't necessarily mean it's fake.

  • I just wanted to add that, Neck Labels varies from country to country. Official Lacoste retailers from Australia has their pique polo with 3 neck label tags;

    1. The main neck label that reads the number size, the croc logo and the LACOSTE font.

    2. The "Designed in France.. etc etc" label tag

    3. the extra neck label on the right hand side of the main neck label.. it reads; "AUS (Size)"

And yes, the "(Size)" writes S/M/L/XL etc etc.

  • is it ok if it says made in peru

  • @crapcake101 :(

  • I've been told that if the real Lacost stuffs will have Lacost word stiches on the croc logo. I got a cap from officail shop and it does has lacost word on the logo but in this video doesnt has ...so..not sure... they dont do the stiches anymore?

  • @crapcake101 definitely fake! Unfortunately you were out of luck because 25 bucks for a fake is a lot and it's too little for a original. Only 2nd hand originals could be bought at that price. THe polos for about 45$ on ebay are authentic

  • @prerunner831 absolutely! I've got a couple of Pierre Cardin polos which are really great, too and the fabric is really nice on the original ones.

  • oh and another thing just by wearing them my original is smooth and comfy , and the fake is sord hard rough and bulky ,wierd.

  • thanks for the info, just checked out my la coste polo, definetly fake the croc is way too low and is sord of engraved on not sewed on like my original polo on my real polo I could run my finger through the croc and I can feel the bump, on my fake the croc is smooth in front and the bump is in the back or inside the shirt, beware of e bay.

  • hope that you could edit and post a new video that double tags ain't fake. Thanks!

  • thanks it was helpfull.

  • fuck i think i bought a fake for 25 $ fuckkk

  • great vid tnx

  • yup thats right made in Peru!

  • en mexico abundan las imitaciones de toda la ropa........

  • I bought mine in Canada and it alsodoes not hve the second label
