Hahaha, only kidding. I was stretching it by saying every genre. But hey, they included more than most games do. If only little bits and pieces, even, seeing as you don't count Canary Mary as a race, at least it's somewhat like one. But I digress. xD

Now that I think about it, I think they also missed:
Hack and slash
RTS
Racing (Canary Mary race does NOT count, because the racing genre would require it include customization of a vehicle, or at the very least more than one vehicle/speed advantage)
Side-scrolling bullet hell
Sandbox
They actually missed quite a few. But, this is just my geek OCD talking :P

Y'know, I must say that Gruntilda is the most badass boss in nintendo history. Why? Well, she becomes a cyborg more or less after she's beat in the first game, and then she's an undead witch driving a giant drill tank. Plus this is the most badass final boss theme ever. Nuff said.
