Everyone has a hero....Dale Earnhardt was mine! I have a room in my house dedicated to him. Dale helped make Nascar was it is today.

anybody that says Ralph Earnhardt died in his garage it was never proven. That is how they showed it in the movie 3 with Barry Pepper but it was never proven. Dale Sr is the only Earnhardt that died at the 2001 Daytona 500

1:00 woulda been more fitting to die in the diehard500... but at least the 500 is known for ending another earnhardts life in a race... just like his dad died in a race when... now i forgot... well better to remember the person than how tragically they died

@outlaw3474 I was a huge fan of Dale and have watched Nascar for well over a decade. You sir are ignorant if you think Jr. has more talent than Jeff Gordon. Gordon will likely go down as one of the top 5 or 10 drivers in the history of Nascar. Dale Jr. isnt even in the top 50. Its not even close, that comment is laughable. Sorry to be an ass but I cant stand all the hype Jr. gets for absolutely no reason. Hes an average driver at best.

Reminds of my childhood, idolizing him every sunday. Just glad I lived to see the golden age of Nascar, never be the same without Dale. RIP Legend

ever since his death..nascar has lost its bump n run aspect...nobody can touch anybodies car without getting penalized...
