Back then, $80KUS was to build the whole lot yourself (including the hulls). We fast tracked the process by getting the hulls done for us while we looked for somewhere to build the yacht. With the design we chose, the hulls were build and were ready in 2 mths, many do them in 6-8 mths depending on the time you put in and to what stage you want them completed. Its the rest of the build that takes time, in our case it took four years while holding a full-time job. Thank you for the kind comments.

They can be built for $80kUS - a bare bones version to $300kUS - full box and dice, sail anywhere. It depends if you build everything or if you get assistance too - it all costs. But definitely worth the effort if your are looking for a sense of achievement, are patient and are happy to quietly chip away for a few years. Then have an asset that can take you anywhere at very little cost.

How much of the 80K was the two hulls. I noticed that you started with two hulls "delivered". Could you have built the two hulls as well ?  You certainly seem to have the skill for it !! Well done.

How much did this beauty cost to build all together? Just the build and the plumbing and electricity. not your add ons... PLEASE Tell me.
