  • Dick Kesner was my Grandfather, and I love his Music

  • audio did not work

  • Holiday for Strings David Rose..

  • excellent...

If anyone knows songs of this type...please let me know...

  • Of all the ballroom orchestras Welk's was certainly the most versatile and interesting. Here David Rose' Red Skelton theme is broadly and tightly played by tuxedoed champagne music makers. A rather sparse personnel back in '55 but sounded as good as ever..

  • I think it's a testimonial to the good taste of Welk viewers that Dick Kesner was so popular, even though he was so reserved on stage that he made Gary Cooper look like one of the Three Stooges!
