http://www.ntv.co.ke Prime Minister Raila Odinga has called on professionals trained locally to commit a fraction of their careers to serve the country. Raila said the government incurs losses through migration of professionals abroad. He was speaking at his office when he met his Highness the Aga khan, the spiritual leader of Ismaili community.
@kenyandamu He is indeed a good man. He built schools across East Africa over 70 years ago - from large cities to small cities. Built maternity homes, clinics, dispensaries & hospitals. FOR EVERYONE. But the govts nationalised the schools in early 70's - not hospitals cuz they are money pits! AgaKhan is still building schools, is back in Uganda building the power plant, academies and more schools. He does not hold grudges - these govts - all 3 countries shd be kissing the ground he walks on.

Yep, they need to get rid of corruption, nepotism and tribalism because thats the main reason why most young Kenyan Professionals immigrate to Western Countries and settle down in those Countries ...

If only our leaders could emulate him mazee .... Sio politicking 24/7. Politics imekuwa ka kazi to wakenya.
Sasa cheki UG imepata some serious Oil reserves na tukizubaa economy yao will catch up with ours ... Only shida with them is that they are too slow na wako landlocked so lazima tukule some of that Oil money yao ....

I agree, Kenyan wages are pathetic and getting a job is difficult and even when there is one available it goes to the highest bidder, family, or tribe.

Aga Khan is a good fellow ... Anything associated with him in Kenya is always to the highest standards be it Schools or Hospitals ... Our stupid leaders should learn from him ...
Na waache ku'complain about brain drain cuz it will never stop as long as surnames is what counts when applying for jobs ... Plus those Kenyan jobs underpay like hell ...
