Yes I remember this engine very well. Went to Wellington Kansas, 1958 to choose just one engine out of ten from the "death train". Out of all of the engines, the 3768 was the best one. Almost like new and could run under it's own power too. The other nine went to the scrap yard. This engine was then placed next to HY 54 in Wichita via a spur track from the MOP. Fell in to disrepair there. Glad to see that it is well taken care of now. I think it could run again. Have pictures and 8 mm of it.
