A visitor of mine poses the question: "Why should I spend money on a product like Worldwide Brands Onesource or Worldwide Brands Dropship Focus when I can go and find the suppliers myself?" The simple answer, is yes: You can source your own products, but as I show in this video, you may be wasting a lot of time and money (especially if your dropship supplier is not legitimate!).

  • can i use world wide brands in the uk or is it not worth it

  • @drunkglitch Worldwide Brands is very effect internationally, especially in the UK. There are a lot of suppliers that either ship internationally or are specifically located overseas. cheers...matt

  • MatthewBredel, I have one question for you... Does WWB offers affiliate marketing where I can just promote some products and get paid commissions? Or is it just a wholesale directory?

  • @dmana3172 Interesting question! In some regards, what you are referring to are "broker networks". These networks are a bit "dodgy" to say the least. With Worldwide Brands, there is none of this....that is one reason why they are a bit special and different: they only focus on companies that are legitimate wholesalers/dropshippers. Anything else is either a middle man, or broker network (and in these are much less legitimate). Great question! cheers...matt

  • I really want to start up an ebay business, and i will be paying that $300 subscription fee within a few days time. The thing i'm concerned about is the fact i have zero business right now and I dont have much purchasing power, which I believe will end up leading to everyone saying that they are not interested in doing business. I'm still going to take a shot even if it is a 1/20 chance it'll lead anywhere.

  • @Crashandburn999 I started an eCommerce business about 3 years using WWB as my directory. Like you, I had no experience in the eCommerce world and had little purchasing power. Still, these dropshipping people talked to me. (in my case, it was garden "adornments"). The one things that really helped was the fact that I got a reseller's license (from my local tax office). It was free to get, but it gave me the "in" that I needed to have these companies work/talk to me. Good luck!!

  • buyers please beware, the very fact that Mr. Bredel has a coupon code in his name that you can use on worldwidebrands should be a red flag, he is getting commission from the company to market the onesource product provided by worldwidebrands

  • Thank You sooooo much Night Trader!

It's silly to trust someone's reviews who has got some sort of interest in the company as in the case of Mr Bredel!!!

  • @aimdirect oh right

  • @drunkglitch, I only deal in name brand products so a purchase directly from China is out of the question. You cannot purchase name brand products like Samsung cell phones or iPads directly from China. For non-branded and Chinese branded products you CAN buy directly from Chinese sources, which you will meet at the CES or the UK equivalent of the show.

  • @aimdirect oh nice is this the only way of finding them in the UK? but you know i don't really see the point in buying from UK wholesalers now when you can buy from manufacturers in china for a fraction of the price

  • @drunkglitch, If you need true suppliers then attend a trade show regarding the products you want to resell. I attend the CES, CTIA, CeBit, and CPAS almost every year to meet real wholesalers and not middlemen or joker-brokers.

  • Yes, you and a million people want to start an eBay "business" and need products. You better have a large amount of cash to send to an importer and keep in mind you are not guaranteed to get anything so dont spend all your investment capital on one purchase. Also, go to WWB website directly, do not click this guys link. Also keep in mind eBay is set up 100% for the buyer so be prepared to spend a lot of money trying to keep ppl from leaving negative FB or your account will get shut down quick!
