Wyland's Clean Water Challenge, an exciting new art and science program developed by the Wyland Foundation, Scripps Institution of Oceanography (UCSD) and the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, was featured at the 2010 San Diego County Fair. Wyland himself paid a visit to the Fair to paint murals with children, while teaching them about marine life and conservation. Through a unique range of continually updated activities, students are offered a global view of our planet's oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, ponds, and wetlands, and our relationship to one of our greatest natural resources in the Clean Water Challenge mobile activity center.
