The fact is, no matter what institution man creates to resolve a problem, there will be those who will game the system to their own advantage. Mr Friedman never seems to address this in many of his so called "logical" explanations. What he does manage to get across is that many well intentioned agencies are eventually manipulated by large business and financial institutions to benefit the powerful and screw the economically weak.

Common now, we don't have a HUGE workforce, our population is that of Holland. We just want to live in peace. But I agree, we have to act smarter.

Well, let's just agree that a bit of Friedman could do well on greek economy. But not too much. At least in the public sector.
