try logging in as "admin" Instead of administrator.

"windows makes it easier than ever sharing files" ....all BS. Anyone can hack into any windows that is not his, and no one can even share anything at all between his own network (if it can even be called a network d--m it)
Now that is security and peace of mind.... no thx to windows. But thx to windows, reading all the comments here down all the way to the very first, we all look like idiots.

i was not able to access XP from Vista until i shared a folder on XP! once i did that, i did not have to use the login name and password.
