@UnverifiedUser According to Christianity God wants evil on Earth for a reason. He has to seperate the people, who choose good from those, who choose evil. What is God wants us to learn from our mistakes and grow.To us,He is more of a teacher, rather than malevolent. And evil exists, because humans choose to do evil things and they are free to do so,until they die and face judgment.

@craig7233 They lack objectivity when once they preach without being critical of what so ever, everything can be questioned especially stories from people who lived for over 2000 years ago, those who translated every word did most certainly exaggerate many passages, and that is something that is happening everyday when you translate a book into another language..The Catholic church have twisted many words and phrases into what THEY THOUGHT was the true meaning.

@craig7233 I have no doubt that Jesus lived, but the holy spirit that the bible says lived in him is only opinions by deluded people who exaggerated their stories in order to have a say in history that would live on til this day. What I wrote in my comment is not just personal experience, it is something that is happening everyday and has ever since religion begun, Orthodox Christians, Catholics, Muslims etc they all preach to their children about their holy books since their beginning of birth.

Following is for Epica90 & co. I hope it's in order. My 2 direct replies to him were the 1st things that I posted. As far as cold, hard evidence on the New Testament (I'll try to explain this out as simply as I can, slowly.) #1 When dealing with determining how HISTORICAL a document is; scientific proof is NOT the issue. Legal historical proof- IS. (That includes witness testimony, archeological finds, etc.) In other words, the basic GAUGES of historicity. &neither is dFOLLOWINGsubjective:
-
OBJECTIVE: The Bibliographical test MATHEMATICALLY SHOWS (proves) that EACH book in the NT is multiple times more historically unquestionable than every single "history" book of the times. There is NO WAY OUT OF this test of historicity. It's pure math; AND it's the most scientific, and comparative (with other "history" books) test. I BACK UP what I say- with total undeniable FACTS. That means, by the way; that Jesus Christ undeniably rose from the dead in bodily form.

THAT'S dozens and dozens of times more historically accurate and UNQUESTIONABLE than Herodotus, Ceaser's Wars, etc. NOW are we getting the picture?? Look it up. Author Josh McDowell. Time for athiests, etc. to start going by EVIDENCE (and especially the HARD EVIDENCE), and not their own superficial feelings about what's hidden from their eyeballs at present. (That's outside this universe.) BTW, that's only the beginning; as far as the NEW Testament is concerned.....

@Epica90 As you can surely see above, YOU were not only preaching by your "personal experience" about how YOU were raised..... but you ASS U MED that "when being preached about it every week and momth as a child it is no wonder why you become religous." That's trying to put YOUR personal experiences UNTO OTHERS, sir. And THAT is YOU coming "up with bullshit." I pity you; & maybe forever. You agnostics turn so much around constantly; and THAT'S BS at it's hiest. URNOTas scrwedasathiests!

@Epica90 What's "personal exp." got to do with showing that the NT is dozens of TIMES MORE UNQUESTIONABLE historically than Herotodus, Ceasar's miliary histories, etc.? (AS I did in next pages.) That's NOT "personal experience" as you say. However, YOU are preaching through PERSONAL EXPERIENCE about how YOU were RAISED to believe things. AND (look up the next page, etc.); YOU just said: "when being preached about it every week and momth as a child it is no wonder why you become religous."
Christianity is not a religion its a true relationship with the living god. and its all about faith, and the reason you don't have faith is because you haven't acepted christ into your life. which is the first step.

You say you believe in god!!!
Islam and Jew both also believe in God and you say you don't believe in the bible but you still call yourself Christian???...Makes no sense so either you believe in the bible or you are Muslim or Jew if you now do believe in God..
