Unofficial Netroots Nation Podcast01.1: Chris Shannon

These are short interviews with just a few of the thousands of people who attended Netroots Nation in Austin, Texas in July '08.
When you watch TV newspeople talk about the Netroots, or online activists, or progressive politics, this is a small sample of those folks.
While some have been active in politics for a long time, most of us are everyday Americans who love our country but hadn't been politically active until we saw that the country was heading in such a terrible direction.

We want to make a difference, and we found that even small steps can have a big, positive effect. If you aren't happy about the state of the nation, here are some steps you can take:
