This new work was written by a group of the Capstone Students and Directed by Caroline Mahoney. The group had a workshop weekend both here in Washington D.C. and in Philadelphia with acclaimed theatre group Pig Iron.
The play follows one night that a lonely young women spends in Albuquerque International Sunport Airport. In one night, she connects with several other characters who all happen to be stuck in this transitional place for the night. Through their experiences, they influence her to take charge of her own life.

A Bridge to Eternity is about the forces of fate in the lives of Faris and Rejah, bound to one another by a car accident and plagued by the specter of guilt. The play incorporates physical composition, gesture, and visual storytelling.

Under the guidance of Fulana, a New York based performance collective, students have unlocked the power of using parody and satire in a creative environment to create an original performance piece in responds to current social, political and cultural ideologies.

Shirley Dreaming is a brand new musical written by AU senior Tyler Budde and his brother, Craig Budde, about a girl named Shirley who graduates from college and embarks on her first day of work at her first job in the real world, only to be brutally fired upon arrival. The show asks that all-important question: "What do I do now?" swiftly followed by "Can this really be happening?" and (as Shirley's world slowly unravels) "This can't be what it's really like." This special, spunky, seminal staged reading of Shirley Dreaming is directed by Randy Baker, Artistic Director of DC's Rorschach Theatre.

Follow the life of ten wacky 20-somethings as they experience heartbreak, love, and the tribulations of growing up in a disconnected world. Featuring a pop-rock score and hilarious dialogue, 20 to Life is sure to leave you with a song in your heart and a spring in your step.The songs will be stuck in your head for days! Written by Robert Rokicki and Mike Ruby, the characters were shaped to fit each actor and came from NYC to engage the singers in 2 workshop weekends. Directed by David Conison.
