Beagles on Hare

A small pack of beagles from the Freedom Run and Happyrun kennels chase a hare thru the Ontario woods at a pretty good pace.

Is it normal for your hares to turn in such tight circles? Had they been hunting her long?

@Davidhunts: I turned the hare. I was standing right on the path. They normally run a good-sized circle, and the hare would probably have continued down the path had I not been there. It saw me and cut back into the woods right in front of me. That is in a beagle club enclosure. The enclosure is one mile long, so they have plenty of room to run wide. I don't remember exactly how long they had been on that hare. They will run several over the course of a morning.
