This episode is simply wonderful !!

It is my favorite one. You can feel the pain Catharine is in losing her mother when she was a child and the doubt about her relationship with Vincent.

She wants to share her secret with her friends but she made a promise not telling anyone about the tunnels and the people who live there. She wants here life to be a happy life a "normal"life and she choose a complicated one.

But in the end of this episode she must admit that her love for Vincent is everything,and she needs nothing more. Even after 20 years this series Beauty and the Beast is still
fascinating,Linda and Ron are great actors.

That ending gets me every time! Chills and knots in my stomach, even though I know what's coming.

Videoam1ture is right, that first piece is Catherine's Lullaby. To me, that piece just sounds like home. My mom used to sing me to sleep with it, before I knew what it was.

Very nice. I think the track you used while she is in dr's office is actually called "Catherine's Lullabye" It's from the Ashes, Ashes episode. She sings the lullabye to a sick child and tells Vincent it is a lullabye her mother used to sing to her, which is actually very appropriate for this episode about the loss of her mother.

The last scene in this clip is lovely: the pullback shot of C & V in that forever embrace, coupled with the crescendo of the main theme at the end makes this the best moment of the entire series.

Here is a question I need to ask, is she really dead cause if she is dead I'm not finshing it. I own all the episodes but I quit watching it afrter she was killed. Is reall y dead or was that dumy?

This is my favorite episode of BATB. It is amazing how we sometimes don't realize the power that music has to add to our enjoyment. The scene where Catherine tries to describe her feelings for Vincent has always been a moving one for me. By adding the music of "Catherine's Lullaby" you have increased the emotional impact dramatically!

This is my favorite episode. I have Seasons 1 and 2 but I wanted to get this music on my mp3 player. Now I can. I cry everytime I watch this show!
