A short film made by Pete Kelsey during his Paris Brest Paris 2011 ride, filmed over 3 days in August. PBP is the world's longest running cycle race, participants have to cover the 1230km course within the specified time limit of 90 hours.

  • @runthering, thanks for your comment - go for it in 2015, you won't regret it. PBP has been running longer than the tdf, so i think this makes it the longest continuously run cycling 'race' but i maybe wrong. RAAM has only been going for 20-30 years, but this is a much tougher event for a solo cyclist. Not something i'd consider doing, it has to be challenging for sure, but fun as well - not sure RAAM falls into that category unless you are an elite athlete. Good luck

  • @ludwig325, maybe not on the true sense of the word. But many people see it as a 'race', against themselves, the clock, their clubmates. But, you are right that it's not a race so sorry of this offends you. Hope you enjoyed your ride, if you did it.

  • I was there this year as a spectator next time i'll be there as a rider . You guys are legends . As fo calling it a race or not if you do it YOU can call it what YOU want . Is the R.A.M not longer though ?
