Georgian Houses are mostly messed up. The left house has an intact second floor stairwell window, the right one has a toilet built onto it. Both have extensions that block the first floor stairwell windows (the tall windows with the curved tops - originally there were two of these aligned vertically).

The house on the very far left (mostly out of frame) has had the top two floors rebuilt with new brick and an extension as well.

Aside from that, there's the ivy, the gutters, a bloody fire escape, huge vents, etc etc. They still look cool though...

  • I might call them messy, I might say they're messed up, but I finish with "They still look cool though"!

  • How can you not like the backs of the old houses? I love the way the fronts are so perfect and the backs really show how so many different people and companies have occupied them. I think they're more beautiful when they're imperfect.
