After competing during the day at the Nevertap tournament (http://www.nevertap.asia) and winning first place in his the -77.5kg division, Andreas Hesselback gave up 30lbs to face Professional Muay Thai fighter Nick of the Legacy gym as a late replacement for an injured fighter.

The fight was fireworks from beginning to end. After a Ref stoppage to allow the ref to check Nick's broken nose the bout was restarted. During a flurry of punches the heavier fighter landed a crushing right hand following Andreas Hesselback to the mat with hammer fists giving Nick his first MMA win, by TKO late in the 1st Rd.

  • Great Fight!! Wow, 2 really great competitors, that was awesome!

  • now this is mma... it makes ufc look like shit

  • he kept hitting...

  • andreas had this fight locked up, given the size difference that was even more impressive, the one good punch the larger guy landed was a little luck, and a lot weight and reach advantage, but at least he had the guts to take on andreas, who despite being smaller has the definate experience advantage

  • Good work nick

  • Here comes the, here comes the BOOM, here comes the, here comes the BOOM .... Not a lucky punch at all, Nick was throwing bombs all the fight, his targeting system was off .... the T-1000 still needs a little work !! well done mate. Neil

  • Yeah right it was a lucky punch...! Nick got way better technique than Andreas.

And for info: the nose ain't broken. :o)

  • hehe, fan vilken otur Andreas! Annars riktigt bra match, du har verkligen gjort stora framsteg / din hyresgäst

  • lets not forget that andreas has several fights = experience,,this boy is a beginner and never fought before this but growing in the sport fast.
